MICA: Manteca Interfaith Community Appeal

MICA was established in the summer of 2015. Through the efforts and inter-faith cooperation of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Islamic Center, Transformed Through Hope Ministries, Baha’i community, Seventh Day Adventists, Sikh community, LDS Church and others, homeless children in Manteca Schools have been provided with backpacks, school supplies, coats and jackets and other necessities. MICA also hosts Evenings of Respect events where we gather to promote compassion for others in the community and our annual International Day of Peace Rally on September 21st.
