This small group utilizes Zoom to meet. If you’re interested, let Pastor Allison know or call the office at (209) 823-7154, to get on the email list to receive the ZOOM link. We finished Adam Hamilton’s book John the Gospel of Light and Life. We’ll continue studying John in March/April using a different book.

The staff meeting will be held in the Conference Room
This adult choir is a fun and dedicated group led by Anne Talcott. They meet for rehearsals on Thursdays in order to make beautiful music for Sunday worship services. There are 2 times for the Chancel Choir to rehearse this time of year. There’s an early 3:00pm session for those who are unable to come at 7:00 for whatever reason and the other portion of the choir comes together at 7:00pm. Come and join us! Child care is available.
The young & old new voices of St. Paul’s UMC have a weekly rehearsal which includes some singing and some beginning handbell instruction. (Adults interested in learning handbells are welcome to join). This group will often sing during a church service once a month. Anne Talcott leads the lessons with the assistance of Darin Brown.
Come and see what music is all about. You may have an untapped talent. Maybe you’ve been curious about playing an instrument. Come discover your joy!

An outdoor experience! This group meets in the gardens weekly on Friday mornings to keep our church grounds looking beautiful. They keep up with the many small (and some not-so-small) gardening maintenance tasks. If you love to rake, weed, prune, maybe tinker or just get your fingers in the dirt, we’d love to have you join us! Our group is getting older and can certainly use some younger energy from time to time. We’d appreciate any time you can devote to this. Even if you can join us just once a month or so.

Our Mystery Book Club is well underway. In May we’ll be meeting at the Chit Chat Cafe in the Ace Hardware center on Louise to share thoughts and insights about the book we just finished reading.
The title we’ll be reading for May is “Rules of Prey"“ by John Sandford. Please pick up a copy of the book to read. You can look for it at the library, Amazon, Thrift Books or Audio books on line or any other source you’re aware of.
Come and join us on May 25th (Memorial Day) at the Chit Chat Cafe for what could be a lively discussion!

Come and work on your “temple” to keep it toned or even get into a little better shape than you’re currently in. Movement is good both physical and mental wellbeing.

This is an opportunity for St. Paul’s to host from 1 to 4 families in our Fellowship Hall for a 2 week period as they work towards getting a home of their own. The families stay with us from late afternoon for dinner, game/family time until after breakfast the following morning. Our congregation, with assistance from other churches and individuals, provide shelter, meals, snacks and companionship during their stay with us.

Cyndi Bolger is teaching a watercolor class today. How exciting! It will be held either in the Music Room or Family Ministries room. Participants MUST be pre-registered as there are a limited number of supplies and seats. If all goes well we may do another class over the summer or in fall. 😊
