This is the basic body in the United Methodist Church. There will be sessions where representatives from the various churches in the conference to gather, give thanks, pray, have break out meetings for groups to discuss on assigned topics. There is a time to “discern God’s will for their future”. New pastors will be ordained and some will be retired, New legislation is discussed as well as other topics that need to be addressed.
