This will be a seven session study (beginning 9/5) where we’ll learn about the background of the central book of our faith. When was the Bible written? How were the stories in it collected? What were the writers trying to say to the people of their time and how do we receive them today? What differences are there between Catholic and Protestant Bibles? What impact does the translator make on our understanding? There is no book to buy for this class, but there is a weekly handout.

This will be the last class of “Bible 101”. A new Bible Study lesson series will be determined shortly and this site will be updated.
