Because of the Movie Event schedule for tonight and other obligations, the centering prayer group will not be meeting tonight, however, we will be meeting again next week.

The Centering Prayer group meets on Tuesdays, at 6pm, in the Fireside Room. Centering prayer is a silent prayer. Similar to but different from meditation, it is clearing your mind, listening (instead of asking and praising) and consenting to the presence and activity of God in one’s life. It works to get one closer to God. Everyone experiences centering prayer in their own way. We also have a brief reading and discussion period before we begin our prayer time.
